1984The present province of New Brunswick was originally part of Nova Scotia. Following the American Revolutionary War and a large influx of Loyalists to the area the “Colony of New Brunswick” was created out of part of Nova Scotia. On 1 July 1867 New Brunswick, as one of the four original provinces of Canada, entered the Canadian Confederation. |
