1910 In 2010 a Memorial Garden was added at the east side of the park on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Navy. The garden includes a plaque commemorating the connection between the Town of Sackville and HMCS Sackville. In 2014 a memorial to the Royal Canadian Air Force was added to the garden. |
Plaque placed by Town of Sackville, in 1999. | The Women’s Civic Council of Sackville began to develop this Park in 1910. When the First World War took the lives of Sackville residents, the park was dedicated to their memory. Plaques for World War II and the Korean War were later added to the cenotaph. |
The cenotaph with the names of those who fell in World War I was officially unveiled on 1 October 1922. Later names were added from World War II and the Korean War. | Sackville, N.B.

The Memorial Garden on the east side of the Memorial Park was officially opened on 15 May 2010.
